Pollution. People are advised to avoid using private vehicles and get around on foot, by bicycle or on public transport in order to improve air quality.
Mobility. As from 25 June, the D50, V9 and V33 services will be offering more efficient routes to connect the city.
Participation. Local residents, shopkeepers and various entities are to work on different street calming proposals for the road.
Social Services. The service offers equipment for people with reduced mobility.
Urban planning. Work gets under way in October to create more space for pedestrians and improve connections between neighbourhoods.
City Police. The city police are getting 145 new hybrid cars this year, equipped with the latest technology and all but replacing the current fleet of cars.
Neighbourhood Plan. Plaça de Sant Miquel is to be turned into a car-free area, giving local residents in the Gòtic neighbourhood more priority and adding more greenery and meeting places.
Mobility. The new bus network gets three additional mainline services offering public transport links between neighbourhoods and the metropolitan area.
Urban planning. The revamp to the street is part of the broader project being developed around the Mercat de Sant Antoni.
